Student Dogs
We're always on the look-out for friendly dogs to take part in our grooming school. Our students are training under professional supervision and need real dogs to practice their skills. In return, your dog will receive a full grooming session at 50% off the regular salon rate.
Breeds we are looking for
We're currently on the lookout for specific dog breeds to assist our grooming students with hands-on learning.
We’re particularly interested in:

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels

Short-coated breeds such as Beagles, Staffies, Pugs, and French Bulldogs

Double-coated breeds like Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, Huskies, and Pomeranians
eligibility criteria
To ensure a safe and positive learning environment for both our grooming students and the dogs, we kindly ask that all student dogs meet the following criteria:

Under 7 years old

Weigh less than 20kg
-
No behavioural issues (e.g., aggression, excessive nervousness, biting)

In good overall health and free from medical conditions that may be aggravated by grooming

Capable of standing for extended periods during the grooming process

Comfortable with grooming and free from grooming-related anxiety
